Benelli is the youngest NAVHDA VC Champion of any breed of dog. He completed this at 26 months old and was trained by his owner who was brand new to pointing dogs and NAVHDA. His owner owns a 11 year old lab besides Benelli.

Benelli is a very high desire dog possessing outstanding work ethic and takes well to training. He has a strong point, natural honor and is a natural retriever. He is a beloved family member with excellent temperament and great with children. My Wife and I currently have a newborn daughter and the 2 get along great. Benelli was trained by a first time pointing dog owner and a first time NAVHDA handler. Benelli is used extensively for blood tracking deer, hunting grouse, pheasants, woodcock, ducks, geese and rabbits.

All of Benelli's litters from 2007-2009 are exhibiting the same traits he does, easy going, strong pointing instinct, natural backing, natural retrieve, high desire, etc. So far, all of his pups tested in NAVHDA NA have achieved a prize. In 2009 he has had at least 2 NAVHDA NA breeders awards. He has had at least a couple of UT prize 1 awards in 2009 as well. His pups from 2007 & 2008 were all hunting wild game this past fall. His litters that will be born in 2009/2010 should be the same.

Benelli is available at stud to approved dams.
